Needs multi-color highlighter ability

Would very much like a muti color highlighter ability.

iPhone review - Greatly improved recently

Im very grateful for the recent upgrade to the display with support for the 6/6+ and Im excited to access all of my textbooks on the wards this year. A few feature requests: -Landscape mode! -The ability to click on tables embedded in the text like figures. The current layout forces an awkward side-scrolling motion to view the entire table. (Not sure if this is an inkling or StudentConsult issue). This issue is compounded by the lack of a landscape view option.

Does the job

I am an ER resident recently graduated from medical school. This app is easy enough to access. Handy if you have expert consult or student consult books.

Awesome! :D

Great companion for resident physicians to save more time for reading! Hoping to add more books to my library. Keep up the good job! Thank you :)

Great way to do e-books.

Great way to do ebooks. It is very readable and intuitive but breaks away from traditional book format in the best of ways. Great job!

Very frustrating.

Crashes a lot. Update says bugs fixed. Apparently not the bugs that keep me from reading my books without crashing. Bought them a wile ago and gave up trying to read them. Couple updates later, app still crashes. Just updated today and still crashes. Maybe they dont have the technology figured out yet for their product. Who do I blame? The sellers of the interactive books or the company that makes the app required to read it?

Great

Great app Easy to download and use

Top tier

As a student in a school just beginning its iPad program (so far 2 years), I have tried many different textbook viewing apps, including Kindle, iBooks, Kno Textbooks (renamed Intel Study), and Pearson eText. After only a few months using this app I can already tell it is one of the best to use. I love how you can purchase individual apps, and the User Interface is easy to navigate.

Sleep Medicine

Works great! Would give it 5 stars, if I could write notes within the chapters like the pc version.

Bad bad bad

Can never log on. Can never reset password. Bug full.

worst app ever

Inkling is one of the worst applications Ive ever used. It crashes on a daily basis for me. I have their support email address saved because I literally have to email them every other day for log in issues. They have no customer service phone number (no phone number at all) so you cant call and talk to anyone-you just have to wait for someone to email you back. If you have more than one textbook on their website you have to search for things individually (on the old website you could enter in a search term and search all of the books you owned; now you have to open each one individually). Again, application/website crashes all the time.

iOS 9 app thinning please!

This app more than any other needs it. Would consider buying more books if I had the room.

Phenomenal app for text books

My Cecils Medicine text book ks two volumes and too heavy to carry around everywhere. Inkling however lets me carry my downloaded copy of Cecils everywhere. Not only that, the search function is better than going through the index and looking up topics. Great app. Highly recommended for text book users.

I love this app!

Great way to read and learn. Very functional and time-saving.

Excellent app

Works offline for active articles. Easy to navigate.

Awesome app

This is the best e-reader I have ever used, especially for textbooks. The layout is clean and the interface is intuitive. Its my new favorite way to read textbooks.

Great App, content lacking + bugs

I’ve been using this app since it came out. It’s awesome for textbooks, the only problem is that there is very little content. In the years I’ve been using it, it seems they haven’t really added much. Also, it has a few bugs in it that are annoying. For example, editing profile information doesn’t let you see what you’re typing. Also doesn’t let you edit your picture. Small concerns. The content they do have is A+.

Best ebook app for medical textbooks.

This is the best ebook app for medicine textbooks, especially compared with Kindle or iBooks. Images are high-resolution and allows zooming, and table of content is well-organized which allows for easy navigation. Formatting is also beautiful, and usually consistent with the print book. My understanding is that Inkling used to produce ebooks in-house, but that is no longer the case. Right now there is a large library of medical books from LWW and Elsevier. LWW books are available from the Inkling website/app, and LWW now also bundle their ebooks with the print books. Elsevier books are available on either Student Consult or Expert Consult websites, and are also bundled with print books. Both publishers are actively publishing on the Inkling platform, so all the latest editions are there. Unfortunately, McGraw-Hill no longer publishes on Inkling, so their selection is rather sparse. Medicine seems to have the largest selection, other disciplines seem limited in comparison. All in all, the best textbook reading experience on Apple devices, especially for medical textbooks. I hope they can get more publishing deals and expand their library. It would also be nice if there is a more accessible central web store that is updated regularly. Both Student Consult and Expert Consult update their stores with new books on a regular basis, but the main Inkling store front has not been updated for sometime, even though new books are being added.

Great

Best experience so far but they should make Grays Anatomy and other valuable books free.

Great for studying

I can use this for quick reference or extending reading. Well done app.
