With each update the entire library needs to be re-downloaded on the iPad. Cannot update on computer and then sync to device. Only licences for 2 devices (iPads). Very limited compared to other apps.

Ive been using this app with many different titles for 1+ year now, and I am extremely happy with my purchases. Some of the issues others have brought up are a mystery to me - in my experience the app is stable, highlighting and annotating is easy to do, and the library is growing very quickly. Its true that you need to wait for downloads to your device, but these typically happen one chapter at a time and you can browse already downloaded chapters while waiting for others. You do also have to re-download chapters when they books are updated, but thats a small price to pay for ONGOING UPDATES TO YOUR BOOKS, especially when were talking about textbooks where corrections to content are great and much appreciated. In any case, nowadays with great access to wifi and large bandwidth I dont imagine these are insurmountable problems for most people who have mobile devices - take a coffee break and let your device do some downloading. I am a huge proponent of e-books over physical books, and much prefer PDFs over paperbacks. The experience with these interactive books has been leaps and bounds better than a PDF. With respect to availability of content across devices - you are allowed to access your content on 2 devices AND via the web, and each of them can view different content simultaneously. So for example, an iPad an iPhone, and a laptop or your desktop etc. So its like having at least 3 copies of your interactive book going all at once - thats not too bad if you ask me.

Makes learning exciting and brings content to life. Inkling brings your textbooks to life with rich text, diagrams, charts, video case studies. All the benefits of modern technology, searchable index, interactive features and per chapter purchases (iTunes model), no more purchase 30 chapter too only use 10 chapters in class. That feature alone makes the whole book purchase worth it for me. Updates, library and multiple device usage and iCloud sync seal the deal. Terrific job!

Its more than a regular reader! With video and externel link embedded, it is worthy to buy your book on Inkling.

It suits my needs especially if Im on the go. No more worrying about bringing all those big and heavy textbooks behind!

I use the electronic versions of two medical textbooks on the Inkling platform. The textbooks are superbly illustrated - the best available in my field - and the content is accurate, precise and user-friendly. If Inkling offers content in other fields similar to the quality they provide for mine, then I predict their ratings to continue to soar. Top marks for quality, ease of use and unmatched illustrations.

I like using this app studying my textbooks more than reading the book it self it has a great interface with great search machine and highlighting and note writing features pictures looks stunnishing with this app strongly recommend it for medical text book studying

Inkling has done a great job with their iOS apps. Very stable, runs very quickly on both iPhone and iPad. The only feature I wish it had was the ability to delete individual chapters to save space on your device without having to delete the entire book.

I was experiencing a few minor glitches previously but theyve been taken care of in this latest update, nice work! You cant really put a price tag on streamlining the learning process. Having said that... Inkling saves me time, money, and manages to keep me engaged more effectively than ever before. There is value in every inkling of Inkling. 5 stars. :)

On iOS 8.0.2, down loaded, opened the app, then when you try to register (bcz that what app asked), it got frozen.

Dont waste your money. I paid for an app which purported to give me an education in the advanced used of a DSLR camera. Purchase took me to a labyrinth of further purchases, on which I gave up quickly. I wonder if Apple knows that this type of scam is operating within the framework of its Store.

So far it works great for iPad and has a beautiful interface. Great for consulting my medical reference books.

This app was great until recently when i open the app, it needs logging in but it freezes when i enter my email and pass! It wont download anything too! Fix it and FAST! because this was the best app for university (instead of carrying tons in the weight of books!) Even with new update, still cant login. Shame, this app was excellent.

I really like Inkling for its convenience...able to read textbooks pretty much anywhere but bugs persist. For example, you cant highlight certain areas of text unless you include the reference at the end of the sentence (minor yet annoying). Theyve known about this for at least 6 mos but yet still no fix.... Also, for people who use this to read textbooks, theres no index included and the search function is absolutely brutal (especially for medical texts)

I can finally have all my anesthesiology textbooks with me all the time! It works well (only had a few minor bugs). I can study easily and highlight everything I want like in a real book. This app would be even greater if you could highlight in different colors or use other tools to make it easier to find your way around your notes, like in a pdf app.

Great to have my books but why is the quality on iPhone so inferior to iPad. I have a 6+ but the books will not display in landscape. Please fix this and I will up the rating immediately.
