Because of "all" its interactive features Inkling wont download to my computer; then Inkling sucks. And no, you limitations are far from reasonable.

My inkling is full of bugs after the last uptdate!! Suddenly it closes, sometimes I cant highlight a paragraph and theres chapters of my books that I cant open it anymore! Its terrible!! Please fix it! Thanks

This app is pretty cool, just checked it out and I am sure I can learn a lot from and with it. I just havent found out how to actually purchase a certain chapter that I want.

The inkling application is quite nice for Modernist Cuisine at Home. I have not looked at other books. The shopping list which is propagated to other devices on the same user account is very helpful. What is missing is the option to print shopping lists or recipes. The iPad is of course a device which is very handy, yet I yet to be convinced that the kitchen is the best place for it. Modernist cuisine appears to correspond to the print version. 2 installs only ? This should be improved. @apple writing a review is a real pain since, on the ipad, the keyboard covers the text of the review I am writing.

The search function of inkling doesnt work anymore since the latest update. Could you pls check this Problem? It World be a useful Tool in a 2000 Pages Book...

The app is useless. It crashes every 5 minutes and slows down my ipad to the point that i have to restart the whole ios. I have never seen anything like it.

Slow load from chapter to chapter. Vertical chapters? Doesnt work too well. These are just PDFs in a closed system. I like Apple iBooks Reader and Store much better.

The best textbook app on the app store, my favorite feature is that you can buy individual chapters from textbooks!

The app has a really nice UI, but you can only have lease than 10 books. Should let us buy PDF versions of text books. It is useless so far.

Feels limited compared to say the kindle store. You can only view the text through the app itself...no options to look at it on your computer or iPhone. And there are very few titles available at the moment. As a medical student I would like to see more of the key medical textbooks on here. Also the options for how big to make the text are no good if you like small text. I would already be happier if there were more options to shrink the text further. Especially in landscape/portrait view, the text is so big I feel like I am reading an elementary school book! That being said the app makes the textbooks very interactive and it is great to have such portability. The app offers a free chapter for every book, so try it out maybe this is the thing for you.

Impossible to download chapters due to server crashes or bandwidth issues. There are better options on the store

Most useless app ever. Cant do anything in this app. When you try follow someone it crash.

I have purchased a history text and several medical texts from Inkling and Ive been impressed by how beautifully the books are done. The experience is very Apple-like, in the elegance of the formatting and attention to details. It makes reading textbooks a joy!

I am absolutely taken by this App. Just wish you would add titles like Schwartzs, Nelson, Grays and Williams OBGYN, or Beckmanns OBGYN. The only problem is downloading the content is EXTREMELY slow, there is no way to PAUSE download to continue later. And downloading stops every now and then so you have to start ALL OVER AGAIN. Not a deal breaker if you can keep downloading OVERNIGHT with auto lock disabled and iPad on charger. One more suggestion though it isnt a deal breaker either. Would you add a feature of full screen and hide the Spine or the toolbar so that the page will be filling the screen completely? i think that would be great. Once again GREAT APP.

I love not having to carry 20kgs worth of books around with me. This app has save my back many times. However, it is useless when I need to highlight and take notes. Also there is no outlined quick index, some books have 400 chapters and the quick index is located within the introduction chapter (useless). Ive emailed the developing team exactly how it can be incorporated, they reply with genius suggestion will implement. However its been 7mths 4 updates nothing. Lastly they only give 2 idevice license, could use 4-5 personally speaking.
